Apex Legends Fixes

Many people lately felt the lag and Game not opening issues so here are some fixes for those who got similar issues with Apex Legends.

Game not starting due to DLL Files Missing.

Occurances have happened where the DLL files are missing for the game and this moslty happens when you try to copy the game to another PC or during first install.

The major Fixes are:

  • game requirements
  • Game Not Starting, DLL Error

Apex Legends Requirements

Apex Legends has a minimum set requirements for a smooth gameplay but everyone prefers a 60 fps gameplay with no lag so both are mentioned below the minimum and recommended.
If you do not fit the minimum requirements you will not be able to play the game as its a intense Battle Royale game.

The Minimum Apex Legends requirements are:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-6300 3.8GHz / AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor
  • RAM: 6GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 / Radeon HD 7730
  • GPU RAM: 1 GB
  • HARD DRIVE: Minimum 22 GB of free space

The Recommended game requirements are :

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7
  • CPU: Intel i5 3570K or equivalent
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / AMD Radeon R9 290
  • GPU RAM: 8GB

DLL Issues

All the DLL files if you get Directx error in the Apex Folder all will be available. The Folder is in Apex<_Installer. In this all the files of DLL error C++ Errors and AntiCheat error you can fix from here.

If it doesnt work as in installation comes as failng then go to the control panel and repair all the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages and try running it. It should start working.
If not try to see whether the Grpahics Drivers are updated or not.

FPS Loss in Game

Frames dropping suddenly below 60 Frames then you need to check your Graphics requirements and also tweak a bit of your ingame settings.
As I mentioned Above about Requirements and 8 GB is recommended Graphics without drop so try to tweak and lower your Settings.

For 4GB-6GB Graphics users:
Anti Realising: TSAA
Texture Filetring: Anisotropic 8X
Texture Streaming Budget: High (4GB V-Ram)
Rest all settings: Medium to Low

But still if you also check geforce Experience its gonna show you low for 6GB users as well but you can get it upto medium to play for 4K screen users mostly will be hard to play with 6GB VRAM as u may feel that loss of FPS.

Let me know what you feel about the info and would love to know your comments about Apex Legends Fixes and Bugs.
